4 Day Weekend!

My aunt came down with her daughter and grandson Wednesday, and we had dinner with them last night. It was really fun to see them, they live a ways away, so we don't get to visit very often. Her grandson is 16 months and he's so cute! I had to buy him a truck from work, and he enjoyed it with his three second attention span.

I asked for today and tomorrow off, because I thought they'd be here all weekend, but they left today. It put me working 11 days in a row, which really made me ornery yesterday. I was so glad to leave, whew! Anyway, the good news is that it also gave me a 4 day weekend! I am in heaven!

Okay, don't get me wrong. I get along with most of my co-workers, and the managers are pretty good to us, so I can't complain too much. It's just that day after day of obnoxious customers and being on your feet 7-8 hours a day wears you out, especially 11 days in a row. So, it's just nice not to go to work for 4 straight days. Ahhhh...
