What to blog about...

~I love it when I have Sundays off! I missed Sacrament Meeting, but I did go to Sunday School and Relief Society. It was very good, and it was fun seeing people I haven't seen for a while. Not to offend or be rude to anyone, but I think it'll be nicer when school starts again, because the wards are combined right now, and it feels more like a family and it's more one-on-one when you are in your own ward. ♥

~There's been a lot of weddings and babies being born this summer, and also a few friends have told me how awesome their boyfriend/girlfriend is, and I keep a little bit jealous. I am happy for all of them, but I just wish I had that. But I finally decided that it's not going to help to sulk; it'll happen someday :) Sometime I'll blog about my wedding/reception ideas :)

~I have to figure out what to do, summer is almost over! I need to plan something really fun for a bunch of us to do, something cheap but really fun...and I can't think of anything. But maybe something will present itself...although I was kind of thinking of getting a Slip 'N Slide and some water balloons and playing at the park. Hmm...we'll see I guess :)

Anyways, I hope you're all having a great summer so far :D

Don't stress too much with what's going on with everyone else :) You'll have all that in due time... Some days it would be nice to go back to being single and not having so many worries! :)

Just really give yourself the chance to enjoy your time single, and learn about yourself! It is such a great time to discover your talents, likes, and dislikes, and find out what makes you wonderful and happy! There is no better time to discover your worth!

Then when the right man does come along, you will be ready to accept his love for you fully!

But you have a positive outlook! Keep it! Have fun this summer! You're too young to be working your life away just yet!

Love you cuz!

I totally understand what you mean. I think that it's especially hard as a young single adult in Utah. Extra pressure is put on you to be someone when it's completely bogus. You're doing everything right, and doing everything well. I have a firm testimony (although that was VERY hard to come by--I didn't get married until I was almost 27, which makes me an old maid by Utah standards, and normal by any other) in the theory of relativity: time is relative.

Unfortunately, time in Utah is on a VERY different wavelength than anywhere else. And when you're single, it can feel so frustrating. Just know that you're in the right place doing the right things, so good things are to come. :) You're doing great. :)

And I'm totally in favor of the Slip 'n Slide ;)
