Apology Accepted...Two Words That Are So Hard to Say

I've realized something tonight. I was thinking about how hard it is to apologize when you've wronged someone. Even when you were right, it is so hard to say "I'm sorry," when you know you've done nothing wrong. Sometimes I've even had to say when something out of my control happened. Two words that can either be full of meaning, or meaningless. Two words that are so hard to say.

However, the two words "Apology accepted" may be just as hard to say. When someone has wronged us, offended us, etc., why is it so hard to accept their apology? Maybe because we think they don't mean it. How can we really know that though, even though we know the person? Just as full of meaning, or meaningless. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of things out there that can be unforgivable. I haven't had that happen to me, thank goodness, but I know it can happen.

I'm not trying to say you are a bad person if you don't accept someone's apology, I just find it interesting that it's so hard to accept apologizes, even for the littlest things. Although, sometimes, something insignificant to one can be major to another.

On this note, please know that if I've ever hurt you or offended you in anyway, I'm truly sorry. It is always unintended and, even if you've hurt me, I would never give in to revenge. You don't have to say those two words in the title of this blog entry, but know that I still apologize for anything I may have done to hurt you.

Thanks for reading!

Oh honey, you're the sweetest person. I highly doubt you have offended many people :)
