This has been so hard lately. I don't know what it is but I feel like every post I've written has been about how I've messed up badly. So I won't mention this week; I'd rather not even think about it.
Instead, let's focus on the good. I really want to lose the weight by October. The reason for October is because that's when the Josh Groban concert is, and it'd be a great excuse to buy new clothes for the concert, and also see friends and family up north and show them the new me :D. I still have the 20 lbs to lose in 2 months (well, less than that now) but if that fails, at least I tried and I can lose some weight by October.
I keep starting over and starting over, and I just keep messing it up. Most of the time I'm really, really good at the beginning of the week, and then give up halfway. I can't do this anymore! I want this so bad, and I know I am capable of doing it!!!
So, I am going to try this again. It's so hard when bad food TASTES so good, but I know I can do it.
Goals for July:
* NO SODA!!!
* More water
* More whole grains/wheat
* 15-30 min exercise at least 3 times a week
* Sleep 7-8 hrs a night
* No "extra" sugar (meaning no candy -- ice cream is an exception because it's hot but only a little)
* Swimming when I can
* Lose 30ish lbs by October 11
I need a good motivator for myself, some reward that doesn't cost much and isn't bad for me. Any ideas? I think when I get down to 200 lbs (which is only about 12 lbs away) I will give myself a reward. :)
I think I can...I think I can...I think I can...

You can do it! I like to reward myself with a new top or skirt that I like when I reach a goal like that. :) Sometimes, just a new book I've been wanting to get!
That's a great idea Ann! One idea I came up with was a new shirt or jeans or skirt :) Losing weight is a great excuse to buy cute new clothes, and you don't have to spend a lot of money. Thanks! Thank you for your motivation too :D
