Life goes by lightning fast.  Sometimes I feel like I have all the time in the world, and then it's a few years later and I wonder where it went.  I realized today as I read my first blog entry that I started this blog THREE years ago.  Wow.  I was 22 and now I'm 25.  I also realized that I had only been at my job for a month when I wrote that.  Woosh.

So I took a break from working out yesterday (well, "working out" meaning walking) because my calves were SO sore and stiff.  Someone told me I tried to do too much too fast, and I think he's right.  I thought I could do it, but...I forgot about the next day.  lol
But I can't wait until they are built up and I can longer and faster!  :-)  And I'm already losing weight!!!

I woke up this morning to SNOW.  Come on...I was really hoping that it wasn't last year where Spring decided to come for about a week and then Winter came back for TOO long followed by Summer.  But it seems to be that way.  :-(

On the plus side, I'm going to St. George tomorrow with my mom, sister, and two other ladies.  Girls day out, I need it!!!  :-)

So I guess the summary is: "whine whine whine snow ew, exercise feels good, live life because it goes too fast, and girl's day out tomorrow!"  :-)

Dentist

I really, really, really hate going to the dentist.  Really.  It's not the dentist, mind you, because I have an awesome dentist who doesn't lecture and who really seems to care about saving my teeth.

No, I hate the procedure.  I hate the drilling and the numbing; I just hate everything.

But enough of my whining.  :-)

I went to the dentist today and had some more work done.  Now that I've got Lortab in my system (which explains my rambling lol) and my mouth is no longer numb, I'm happy again about going to the dentist.

I may hate it, but the end result is all worth it.  I feel more confident when I smile and less self concious about my teeth.

It's funny:  one little thing about yourself--bad teeth, pimples, bad hair day, cold sore--can make you feel so self concious and it can affect everything you say and do.  It shouldn't, but it does.

Anyways, I'm happy!!!  :)

Bragging rights and news

Okay, so I know that I'm kind of crazy and I really like Twilight.  However, I'm sure there are plenty of things out there that I would find crazy about you too.  :P

Anyway, I'm kind of proud of my blog!  I used the background from my favorite website (thanks Jessie!) http://thecutestblogontheblock.com/ but I found the header and added the text.  I thought it matched quite nicely, and I LOVE that quote from Twilight.  :D

Anyways, my news is that...I got new glasses!  I was WAY overdue, and I am so happy that I can see!!!  lol  I'm nearsighted, so I can get away with it (since I don't drive yet) but it's so much nicer.  :)

My birthday is getting closer...5 more days 'til I'm a 1/4 of a century old.  Oh boy...lol.

Speaking of my birthday, in lieu of presents this year, I'm trying to raise money for a good cause.  My goals is to give $250 for Preventing Child Abuse in Utah!  Even if you can't donate this year, I totally understand, but spread the news :D  Click below to find out more:
