"Please don't nag yourself with thoughts of failure. Do not set goals far beyond your capacity to achieve. Simply do what you can do, in the best way you know, and the Lord will accept of your effort."
--Gordon B. Hinckley, "Rise to the Stature of the Divine within You," Ensign, Nov. 1989, 94

Sunday Quote
Okay, so I wasn't the best at following my last quote. However, the point isn't to write a quote and expect to be living it from the moment I write it. That's impossible. It's one I definitely need to work on :)
-------------------------------
This week's quote:
"Always hold your head up, but be careful to keep your nose at a friendly level." Max L. Forman
--------------------------------
I like this one because my self confidence, though stronger than it has ever been in my life, is still shaky. I know people that say they have self confidence, but they are so cocky and tactless that I shy away from self confidence because I don't want to be like that. However, I need to realize there is a happy medium between "self-confident" and "cocky". I need to find it and be it! :)
So that's my goal. Self confidence without being cocky :)
Goes right along with last week's "nobody can stop me" doesn't it? :D

Sunday Quote
I decided that I'm going to post a quote on Sundays that I want to try and remember the rest of the week.
I try to be an optimistic, happy-go-lucky gal. However, I do slip up. So, I'm going to post a quote, and the through the week we can see (if I remember to blog that week :P) how I'm doing at remembering it. :D
-------------------------------
This week's quote
"The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me."
Ayn Rand, The Fountainhead
--------------------------------
Sometimes I feel like people "stop" me from accomplishing things I want/need to do. I need to stop blaming others and letting others get in my way. That's my goal this week: Nobody can stop me :)
